Ergonomic pen can end painful cramping

The Ergo-Sof PenAgain is an ergonomic writing pen with a soft silicone coating that adds extra comfort. The "Y"-shaped design helps to reduce the need to squeeze the pen tightly when writing, and decreases gripping strain. The Ergo-Sof PenAgain has an ergonomic index finger cradle which allows the natural weight of the user's own hand to gently rest. Pressure is applied to the writing surface with gravity, instead of pressure from the fingers. The pen helps to steady the hand and actually engages the whole arm in the writing process, greatly reducing hand fatigue. People with Arthritis, Writer's cramp, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, calluses, RSI, and hand weakness will find the PenAgain provides increased comfort for writing.

A jar opener that twists off irksome tight lids

It adds strength to your wrist with a simple mechanical function, more leverage thanks to the lengthened handle. The serrated edge assures a tight grip. It's an essential kitchen tool, and the price is right. There are any number of similar tools that perform the same function, and all work on the same principle, adding leverage with the lengthier handle, which greatly increases torque. Some add a clamp to the jaw as an aid to tighten the grip and prevent slippage. The various versions of the jar opener have a price range but the less expensive work as well as the higher priced ones.

A knife that is easy to use

Difficulties in gripping cutlery is one of those signs of aging that we struggle with just about every day.  Thankfully, the knives that are designed with the grip handles solve the problem effortlessly. There are many versions of the concept and just about all of them work well.  Cutting a slice of rye bread with ease was the test for me and I passed it with flying colors. The knives are like the saws used to cut a piece of wood, a fluid motion that doesn’t involve bending the wrist (where the arthritis lurks). Any number of models can be found on-line with varying shapes and prices.

Photographer Owen Deutsch began to photograph birds solely because of their beauty and for his own pleasure, but quickly realized that the world’s bird populations were decreasing at an alarming rate. With many species becoming extinct and countless others threatened with extinction, he felt the urgency to protect them in what became clear to him had become an increasingly dangerous world, not only for birds but other animals as well.Birds play a critical role in our ecosystems and also bring us an enormous amount of pleasure as we watch them in flight and observe their elusive, sometimes mind boggling beauty. According to BirdLife International, 680+ species are considered endangered today, among them some of the most exquisitely beautiful and resourceful creatures known to man....
